In order to achieve international standards of best practices in sustainability, in 2016 REPSA established an Action Plan to carry out the necessary changes in its operations and adhere to the commitments acquired in its Sustainability Policy. Year after year, REPSA establishes the goals to be achieved in the main axes of the Action Plan and reports the progress made every four months.

Since the Action Plan began, REPSA has sought to establish a structured dialogue with neighboring communities and local authorities to publicize the plan and its objectives. These spaces for participation have allowed REPSA to take feedback from its local stakeholders and include their observations in said plan. Thanks to the changes implemented, REPSA’s operations now comply with the sustainability standards of the European Renewable Energy Directive.

The achievements made reaffirm REPSA’s commitment to continue improving its practices to achieve sustainability through the generation of economic, social and environmental value in Sayaxché. The objectives set and the achievements achieved in the two years of the Action Plan are detailed below.
