At REPSA we keep a continuous and stringent vigilance of potential risks at each working point throughout the production chain to prevent labor accidents and occupational illnesses.
For those labors where the use of any Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is identified, we provide every operator that requires it with the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), raising awareness about its appropriate use. Additionally, we have an adequate training and education program so that all our collaborators understand the importance of the appropriate use and care of the PPE for their health.
We have an Occupational Health and Safety Department whose main purpose is to safeguard compliance of policies on labor risk prevention.
Through risk matrices, produced for each agricultural and industrial labor, we have identified moments and actions that may endanger physical integrity of those performing such tasks, and we have defined a series of measures to reduce such risk. These matrices are periodically updated.
At REPSA we keep activated the emergency brigade integrated by collaborators whom we have trained for first aid care, fire prevention and extinction, and in emergency protocol activation, derived from eventual accidents or natural phenomena; brigade members are responsible for providing pre-hospital care and coordinating emergency and health services.
