Our essence
Reforestadora de Palmas del Petén S.A. (REPSA), we are a company from Grupo HAME, pioneer in palm cultivation in the country and in the Central American region. We are leaders in crop innovation and responsible processing of oil palm.
REPSA was created in 1999 and since its beginning, our operation has been guided by principles of economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Oil palm cultivation takes around 25 years for its first generation, which leads us to have a long-term vision in priority subjects like environmental management and community development. We focus our effort on being an innovative and efficient company to obtain a manufactured product with high international quality and sustainability standards.
Our production plant is located in the municipality of Sayaxché, in the department of Petén, Guatemala, where we generate direct employment opportunity to more than 4, 700 people (monthly average 12 months per year) and indirect employment to more than 25 thousand people.
