In order to achieve sustainability, it is essential that, within the consolidation of our social management system, we strengthen our relationship with stakeholders. For which we have started a process in which those people and organizations with which there was no relationship previously will be addressed.

Recognizing that its operations are of interest to individuals and entities from different sectors and that the dynamics of the local context frequently generate new stakeholders, in 2017, as part of the consolidation of its social management system, we expanded the scope of our relationship, opening relationship with new sectors of civil society.

Under the guidance of an international organization and an expert consultancy in the field, we strengthened our procedure for identifying stakeholders and systematizing our relationships, with the aim of generating trust to build long-term relationships.

In this sense, we maintain permanent communication with the communities, local leaders, authorities and representatives of public institutions.

This process has favored our learning, since it has allowed us to know the perceptions and concerns of the interest groups, allowing us to improve the dynamics of relationship. In addition, the perspectives and comments received are transformed into inputs that enrich our initiatives and actions in terms of sustainability.

At REPSA, we are part of the group promoting the Sayaxché Governance Pact as a general framework for cooperation and collaborative relationship between companies, authorities and communities for the planning and democratic management of the municipality’s development.

We reiterate our commitment to make the relationship with interested parties a permanent and systematic process, inherent to our business strategy; as well as to openly receive feedback and observations from these groups.

Proof of this commitment is the complaint and consultation mechanism that we implement and is made available to our stakeholders. The public complaints we have received have been entered into the mechanism and their status has been made public for the sake of transparency.
